We are Bianca and Lorena from Verona, Italy!
We are travelling in Australia with a WHV, currently living in Perth.

Bianca

Dedicated artist and muralist with a lifelong passion for creativity. Muralist and painter always looking for my next project, following a year of international travel in Southeast Asia where I gained experience through volunteering on 6 different mural projects, collaborating with diverse groups to positively impact the community.
I have experience in hospitality (bartender, waitress) with couple of years of experience and in retail as sales assistant/visual merchandiser.

I really like being outdoors and getting in touch with nature. I love animals and I like being around them! I have experience in a lot of practical activities like babysitting, farm works, animal care, gardening, planting, cooking. I am very manual and easily learn new tasks.
I am polite, clean, open mind, organised, and i have already been independent for some years so I know how to maintain a house.
I speak English fluently and I’m a beginner in Spanish. I have an Australian driving license.

Lorena

I consider myself a person who’s open-minded and curious, always keen to discover and learn something new and get the most from every situation I find myself in.

I started travelling this past year and had the chance to volunteer for the first time! I spent few months in Tokyo and Seoul working in languages cafes where I had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and deepen my knowledge of the places that I was visiting.
Travelling itself made me more independent, aware of my surroundings and made me grow responsibly with respect for the people I was with and the spaces we were sharing.

Before volunteering I worked as a sales assistant, waitress and cashier which lead me to live in a team work enviroment.

I also have a creative side, I enjoy different types of art like making collages, painting, fashion, photography and reading. I’m practical with activities like cooking, cleaning and the house chores in general.

I fluently speak English and I can also speak french and spanish on an intermediate level.
Additionally I have an Australian driver’s licence.

My purpose is to keep exploring and take up new volunteering to enrich even more my experience, I’m happy and ready to join you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m an artist ! I paint, draw, make handmade accessories and home decorations.
I love unics and things made of natural and recycling materials.
I have a positive attitude, artistic creativity and concept development as well as visual merchandising and fashion designing.
I came from a farmers family so I know a lot about planting, taking care of animals, house and land in general.

I would like to improve my skills nevertheless I am open to evaluate new experiences so that to acquire new competences.

Lorena
I have a strong experience in customer service after working as a sales assistant, waitress and cashier. Thanks to my past jobs I learnt how to adapt to different situations, how to cooperate in a team and have a clear communication with everyone in the group, how to guide the customer and listen to his needs, how to find solutions and alternatives and how to be a supportive team member!

I’m happy to learn new things and acquire new skills!
