We are Melany (Swiss/Ecuadorian) and Denis (Gutemalan) a very smiley couple, full of positive energy which we would like to share with the world.
Our paths crossed in January 2022, while we were working at Maya Moon Lodge by the beautiful Lake Atitlan. Since that moment we decided to share our adventures with one another. We are free spirited and open minded people. We are curious about the world, always excited to meet new people and experience new ways of life. All of our special and best memories were made by taking risks and jumping into new opportunities.
We are excited knowing that they’re always new things to learn and we feel fully motivated in expanding our knowledge. Being connected with nature which is surrounded by amazing humans and living peacefully, there is nothing more which can give us ultimate satisfaction.
->Melany has travelled around the world for more than 3 years and brings a lot of experience in hostel/hotel/bar/ restaurant/ reception/ farm work. Currently she works as a receptionist for a 4 star Hotel in Zurich - Switzerland.
Her first languages are German and Spanish. Her English is on a advanced level and she does speak some French.
-> Denis is orginally from San Marcos La Laguna but has lived and worked in several villages around the Lake Atitlan. His famliy ran different bussinesses around the lake - always related to tourism. He has worked in different areas as a tour guide/spanis teacher/bartender/reception/gardening. Currently he works as a bartender and tour guide for Zephyr Lodge in Lanquin.
His first languages are Kaqchikel and Spanish. His English is very fluent
Together as a team we will bring a lot of life experience and interesting stories from all over the world.
