Description
Hi! My name is Melica. I’m 28 years old, originally from Iran and currently based in Mexico. After years of traveling and volunteering around Latin America, I ended up creating roots in Mexico, which has been home for the last six years.

I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi, and I have around 12 years of experience teaching English and working with children of different ages. I’m a very social, easy-going person and genuinely enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

Over the years I’ve volunteered in Canada and throughout Latin America in hostels, with local families, and on farms. These experiences have taught me how to adapt quickly, work well with others, and enjoy simple ways of living. I’m comfortable helping with childcare, teaching, cooking, hospitality tasks, and supporting wherever I’m needed.

I love cooking and sharing food with people, it’s one of my favorite ways to connect. I follow a plant-based lifestyle, but I’m very flexible and relaxed about it 😊

I also have many hobbies and love staying active and creative. I’m a circus artist and practice aerial arts, I enjoy dancing salsa, playing chess, drinking mate, reading and writing books, spending time in nature, and being around animals. I’m always curious to learn new things and hear people’s stories.

I’m always eager to learn new skills and step outside my comfort zone. I’m especially interested in learning more about farming, permaculture, building projects, and rural life. This summer I’d love to have a different experience in Europe, meet new people, contribute where I can, and learn something new along the way.

I love children of any ages. Never get tired of them. I can read books to them,dance,sing , play many different games and do art projects.
I also have some experience with planting vegetables, gardening construction and animalcare. I have experience with llamas,dogs,cats,chickens,peacocks and I would love to learn more about horses and cows.
I can dance salsa and am eager to learn more!
I can cook vegan/vegetarian food for you!
