Hi, I'm Mei-Lin from sunny Singapore! It's my dream to both travel and experience the people and culture of the countries I visit.
My last job was a Marketing Manager in a IT organisation and now I am looking forward to spending more time travelling, volunteering and learning about people and cultures. And the best way is to live with them - that's why I joined Workaway. There are many hosts who offer that once-in-a-lifetime experience to have us in their homes and to live like they do.
Right now I feel that I love to spend my available time exploring opportunities for volunteer work. I am willing to try all kinds of work and learn from you.

Have done volunteer work amongst children and teaching simple English using phonetics and also grammar. Recently, I volunteered at the ElShaddai Refugee Learning Centre (ERLC) in Malaysia. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I've worked for many years in Marketing and Sales, and enjoy program coordination and execution. Also have some know of writing and editing.
I also have volunteered for an NGO and taught children English and phonetics. It was a great experience sharing and teaching the children in the refugee school. -

During my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym and join the dance classes. I also love to organise get-togethers with friends to catch up on what's going on in our lives. I've always volunteered in church and have gone on mission trips to India, Thailand, Cambodia. During these trips we organise many games and offer help to the team there.
