Hi, I'm Maurice. What brings me happiness? Hmm. Definitely Surfing is no. 1 , and then there is nature, sun, but I also like the cold, sometimes, and ofc my friends. I would also like to get more into building with wood and gardening.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I can do everything concerning housekeeping. I grew my own garden once, and as a kid helped my mom in hers. I can work with a computer. I've worked in restaurants, bars, a factory, a public swimmingpool. We had a dog when I was a kids and I took care of a dog at my last Workaway. My cooking skills are good. Communicating is easy for me and I have fun working with people. I speak English, German and Russian and could teach the basics of either of these languages. I worked in Indonesia at the German Embassy.

They were great hosts and made me feel right at home in their lovely house in the woods.
The environment at home was very warm and welcoming. The everyday life was good mix of work, free time, having excellent dinner and going on adventures. We went on sailing trips and camped at… read more
He came to visit us on short notice, and came to learn as much about sailing as he could in the time we had available.
During that time, we faced a lot of challenges in our own world, but Maurice was patient and very very helpful.
If he ever comes up as available for WorkAway, we highly recommend hosting him.
