Description

I'm Senegalese Canadian on a mission to learn from other cultures. I'm fluent in English and French, and looking to learn modern standard Arabic and Spanish. I'm handy and enjoy doing manual stuff and building things. I'm a traveler at heart. When I travel I focus on getting the most authentic experiences from each place, I don't mind the touristy stuff but I feel the purpose of going places is to see how others live and gain wisdoms and knowledge from them.
By joining this platform I hope to not only make new lifelong friends but also learn how to help build sustainably (especially mud houses), plant trees all over the world, grow food, hang out with and care for animals, cooking skills from different cultures and anything that's fun to add to my skillset.
I want to hone my skills as I start my new endeavor to teach English as a second language and I want to work with all age groups.
I'm also a photographer so I'm constantly capturing moments, as long as the people around are okay with it. I use photography as my creative expression. I don't use social media so the images I snap are for potential future exhibitions/galleries or private ownership.
I look forward to working with you the reader and making a positive contribution to your project.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I work on a regular putting furniture together. I can do many handy things.
I recently got my certification as a TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher so I can work with people learning the language.
I'm a francophone so I can also help with French.
I'm very good animals, though I may not be experienced in caring for them I learn quickly and I have a good connection with them.
I can help with photography.
I'm a good cook even though most of the dishes I know are Senegalese and North American but I'm eager to learn new cuisine. If I have the necessary ingredients I'd be happy to make a dish I know.
