Description
Hey there! I am Matteo and I’m 38 yo. I love outdoor activities like hiking and I’m also a certified Scuba Diver! I currently work for the national postal service from April until September and I live in the south-western Sardinia, in Italy.
I grew up on the sea, in a city called Portoscuso, the city was founded around a small Spanish harbour, five hundred years ago. Sardinia is an island with a strong tourist vocation, so most of my work experience has been in the tourism industry as a Hotel Receptionist, as a Boat Driver in boat tours and certified Scuba Diver, meeting new people from all over the world. I love to spend my free time doing cultural exchange and learning languages.
I currently have a few months off from my main job and I would like to spend some time abroad to discover new places and meet new people. I’m an enthusiastic worker, I'm skilled with manual labor such as carpentry and with great experience in customer service.
I am excited to embark on this new adventure I can’t wait to start!

I love to spend my free time improving my English, learning a new language, or teaching Italian. Lately, for instance, I have started to learn German. One of the most useful tools is certainly the app HelloTalk, which I use constantly to meet new language partners and talk with my old native English-speaking friends.

#General Maintenance
I have a high school diploma as an electrical engineering technician, so I can manage the general maintenance of electrical systems. I'm also quite good with the basics of hydraulics and mechanics.
#DIY and building projects
I have developed strong DIY skills over the years. Some examples? I have designed and built wooden furniture and accessories for my home, I've always painted my house by myself, and resolved car issues whenever possible.
#Customer Service
Thanks to my work experience, I possess good customer service skills. I am capable of addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction while maintaining high levels of perceived quality.
