Hi!

My name is Mathis, I’m 23 years old, and I’d love to have a new experience abroad. I really enjoy meeting new people, learning new things, and discovering different cultures.

Music plays a big role in my life: I play both the piano and the guitar, and I listen to a wide variety of styles. I also play a lot of chess.

I lived in Paris for 14 years, then 7 years in Lille, before moving to Lyon for my studies. Today, I live in La Ciotat.

I haven’t tried Workaway yet, but I spent 6 months in Barcelona in an international flat share, and I absolutely loved the multicultural environment and the daily exchanges.

I speak French and English. I’m not very good at German, but I still have some basics left (haha!), and I’m currently trying to learn Russian.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Versatile and curious by nature, I like to fully commit to what I do and learn by doing.

I have solid hands-on experience from helping my father with interior renovations and landscaping projects. I’m comfortable using tools and I enjoy working outdoors.

I also really enjoy cooking. For me, preparing a meal is a great opportunity to share and connect culturally.

I like passing on what I know, whether it’s my native language or music. I’m patient and able to adapt to different people.

Finally, I am currently studying at a business school, specializing in finance. This has helped me develop strong analytical skills, a good level in mathematics, and fluency in English, allowing me to feel comfortable in an international environment.
