Hi :) We really want to discover different cultures, but first of all, allow us to introduce ourselves. Our names are Anaya and Matheo, and we are both 20 years old and we leave in the south of France. We have been in a relationship for a year and a half. We wish to discover many countries together and we have a working holiday visa.

Matheo: I am adaptable, sociable, and hardworking. I am kind and love children and animals. I like sports (gym, climbing, basketball, scooter and tennis), the mountains and getting out of my comfort zone. I want to travel around the world to discover new countries and different cultures. I have just returned from a six-month trip to New Zealand. I stayed in different hostels, which allowed me to meet many new people, go out and discover new activities. I worked four months as a roofer (because I studied carpentry for two years in France and I am passionate about it). Anaya joined me to travel for two weeks and discover New Zealand with me in December 2025, because it had been six long months without seing each other.

Anaya: I am finishing my third and final year of studies in business management, but I needed to discover different countries before starting a master’s degree and my professional life. I am open-minded, always smiling and courageous. I am attentive and I love to discuss. I am both practical and creative, and I love nature, hiking, travelling, and sports (gym, running, rollerblading, tennis). I have been babysitting and helping with homework since I was 16.
At 18, I traveled alone in Ireland for two months by car. I worked in an Irish pub where I met wonderful people (the regulars, but also my colleagues, who became very good friends). I also worked very early in the morning at a hotel and I also worked in the evening at the pub. It was a really enriching experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are versatile, flexible and eager to learn.
We both want to learn about home renovation, even for small tasks or jobs.
Otherwise, we both have different experiences:

Anaya:
- Summer job in grounds maintenance: gardening, bush cutting, leaf collection.
- Fruit picking (plums) for severals summer
- I have been babysitting for over 3 years. The youngest child I have looked after was 1 ½ years old and the oldest was 9.
- I help children and secondary school pupils with their homework.
- Every summer, I help my parents cleaning the holiday cottage we rent in the countryside.
- I worked as a waitress and housekeeper in an Irish pub for two months

Matheo:
- Student contract in a fast food restaurant at weekends.
- Two-month internship in carpentry.
I did different interim assignments in summer jobs for example :
- I unloaded boxes for two weeks
- 3 months in carpentry
- I worked 4 months as a roofer in New Zealand.
I enjoy DIY and building work in general.
