Hi, I'm Mary! My number one passion is travelling! For me travelling is more than just jumping from one country to the next. I want to actually experience the culture, eat local food, meet and talk to people, see more than just the tourist magnets. I believe workaway is a great opportunity for that!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I studied International Business and Environmental Ethics. Both studies helped me to create a good understanding of a) business processes and departments and b) ecological and social development.
Due to previous jobs, I gained lots of expertise in marketing tasks, including website management, newsletters, filming, social media,... I would say I'm a really creative person! I also love being outdoors and spending time in nature! Oh and not to forget about one of my last jobs in a café - I know how to serve coffee and cake :)

From the moment she arrived, she jumped in with both feet and such a genuine heart. Long story short: Julie and the dogs are the best and it was the best decision to go there!
More detailed: I spent a bit more than two weeks with Julie and the dogs and it was an amazing experience. Julie's house is really nice. I had my own (very cozy and beautiful) room and it's located outside the main center, which I personally really liked.

Our experience with Mary was great! She is a nice focused, detailed and results oriented volunteer! She helped us paint the farm's warehouse and although she stayed for a short time she committed to the task until it was finished, which was very nice.

She also is very kind, easy going and helpful with the team!

My stay at the farm was very last-minute. I had a short call with Rodrigo and three days later I was already on the farm. The farm is beautiful, surrounded by palm trees and jungle. We feel so fortunate to have had Mary come and help us in our home & too large garden. She is kind and patient beyond her years. She is soon competent in every thing you ask of her and a joy to have around. We especially enjoyed her cute and funny practical jokes, and positive and quiet warm demeanor.

Mary was a kind and friendly, easygoing people, ready to help whenever i need and she is hard work and leaning very fast.
She help with many things on the farm, planting some vegetable , cooking, cleaning ,harvasting fruite,

I spent two weeks on Shanu and Samayra's farm and it may not have been the last time!
