Aho! My name is Marleen, and I have just begun the second half of my life. A phase that will be dedicated to change and to applying what I have learned over the years at the school of life. A learning journey that has not been easy in recent years, one that required a lot of courage and perseverance, that breaks down what no longer serves me, but that holds the promise that it does not end there.

I am starting this part by traveling for a while and discovering what the world has to offer me. I enjoy experiencing a connection with myself, which forms the foundation for my thinking, feeling, and actions. From there, I connect with other people. I am organized and practical, enjoy variety, and have a keen eye and interest in what it means to be human. I see myself as someone on a journey and value personal contact.

Spirituality plays an important role in my life. In the coming months, I will continue to explore what trust truly means 😊

I am a proud mother of three adult children, whom I love very much. Besides my children, I find happiness in being outdoors, care of animals, living mindfully, eating healthy food, and practicing self-care. I feel most at home living close to nature. I like to challenge myself and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am comfortable working with machines.

My life mantra: feel the fear and do it anyway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Besides being a mother, I am also an entrepreneur. (To be honest, there are aspects of entrepreneurship I have never really enjoyed.) One difference between being a mother and an entrepreneur is that a mother is also an entrepreneur, but an entrepreneur does not necessarily have to be a mother. So many of the qualities required for both roles overlap.

When the goal is clear and aligned with my values, I am good at organizing and/or executing. I can handle machines, children, animals, and nature, and I drive different cars without any problems. I paint my own house, both inside and out. I hang my own paintings, unclog drains, plaster small walls, and I enjoy cooking and taking care of others.

I understand German well, speak it somewhat less fluently, but I notice that I pick it up quickly again. I would like to improve it further. English comes more easily to me.

I also enjoy skiing, and I can sail and ride a motorcycle. I like going for a beautiful walk. In recent years, I have taken care of my own beehives, kept chickens, and baked sourdough bread daily.

I travel in my own camper.
