Hi!
my name is Marianna, I am originally czech and I am currently finishing my bachelor degree in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since I will be done with my studies, I want to travel and explore more cultures and make new memories, learn new things and maybe also teach what I know. I realized that getting a little lost is how I learn to find myself, and as a chapter of my life is ending I am ready to step out of my comfort zone and get a little lost again.
I believe that every person we meet is a bridge into a new world, and with an open mind I love to expole these different worlds - that is one of the reasons why I decided to volunteer via workaway. I have always been very playful, creative, spiritual and sensitive in many ways. I love painting, doing yoga, muay thai and other sports, being in the nature, learning about different cultures and also individual people.
I'm very calm and clean, I love cooking (I am vegan) and anything art related. I value good communication over anything, always take others in to concideration and I take good care of my surroundings.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am able to help with any kinds of social or manual work, art projects, as well as apply my skills I gained through my studies. I am happy to help with anything needed, I am a quick learner and I appreciate every experience and I like to be a part of something bigger.

I’ve picked up a variety of skills over the years—some from work, some from studies, and many just from living life and following what I love. I grew up gardening with my mom, and therefore it is still dear to me and I find it really rewarding to work with and in nature. I’m also no stranger to different projects and house work—I’ve painted rooms, helped fix things, and always enjoy seeing a space come together. I spent over 4 years in hospitality, working with people from all kinds of cultures and backgrounds. That experience taught me a lot about being adaptable, organized, and staying calm and proffesional even in tough situations.

On a more academic side, I studied Business Culture and Language at Copenhagen Business School, diving into subjects like economics, sustainability, marketing, and communication. I’m comfortable with technology, and I’d love the chance to apply some of that knowledge in real-life projects, maybe helping with small businesses, organization, or sustainability work.

And lastly there’s my love for animals and nature. I grew up around animals and have always felt very connected to nature. Whether it’s caring for animals, helping on a farm, or working outdoors, I’m more than happy to lend a hand.
