Description
Hi there! I’m Margaux – a smiling and curious soul, always eager to step out of my comfort zone and discover what makes each place unique. I love immersing myself in new cultures with enthusiasm and an open mind.
I graduated with a degree in Business, focusing on sustainability and human resources. For two years, I was vice-president and treasurer of a student association that supported local producers in Centre-Val de Loire by creating surprise food boxes (yes, we love tasty surprises!).
I’ve been riding horses since I was three, and it taught me that perseverance is key – every fall is just another chance to get back up stronger.
Right now, I’m taking a gap year to improve my English, feel useful, and lend a hand wherever I can. If you’re looking for someone motivated, reliable, and ready to share good moments, I’d be happy to join your project.

I’d love to improve my English – both to feel more confident for my future career and to fully enjoy discovering and connecting with different cultures around the world. And if you’d like, I’d be more than happy to introduce you to French with patience and enthusiasm !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Through my studies and experiences, I’ve developed strong organizational skills and a great sense of responsibility. During a one-year apprenticeship in a higher education school, I was in charge of organizing events for up to 80 people while also managing administrative tasks to support students with professionalism and care. This role also taught me to respond efficiently to student requests, which strengthened my communication and listening skills.
In parallel, my two-year commitment as vice-president and treasurer of a student association gave me hands-on experience in project management, budgeting, and teamwork. It also deepened my interest in corporate social responsibility and human resources.
I consider myself perseverant and adaptable – qualities that I’ve nurtured since childhood through my passion for horse riding. Curious and motivated, I enjoy learning by immersion and feel comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
I’m also improving my English step by step so I can express myself more confidently and fully enjoy the cultural exchanges that Workaway makes possible.
