Hello ! Buenas ! Bonjour !

My name is Margaux, I am 29. I was born in Lille, north of France. I am an open-minded and creative person passionate about cooking, nature, sharing, sports, medicinal plants, discovering cultures, alternatives therapy, chamanismes and so many things...

After my studies, I moved to London. I worked there as a chef and in childcare. Living in London can be as magical as tough. I enjoyed the multicultural dimension of the city but I could not handle the fast life.

I got back to France to study International Solidarity Management. I learned about the implementation and management of humanitarian and solidarity programs worldwide. I had the great opportunity to volunteer and travel in Senegal and Gambia. Since then, I have been travelling and volunterring on my own through Europe and last year in Colombia and Mexico.

I used to think I was trapped in a system where time, performance & rentability were driving us all. It has been hard to understand why things were going the way they are. I felt lost for a while. Living in the middle of nature in Senegal helped me realize how the environment and the contact with nature could improve life and mental health. I left my apartment 4 years ago, I currently don't have a proper home so here I am on the road again.

I would enjoy volunteering for a few weeks and maybe find a place where I could stay longer, I would love taking part in projects, meeting new people and helping in any way I can.

I am interested in learning about alternative way of living, I would love developing skills in permaculture, food forest, bio-Construction, carpentry, water management, handcraft, DIY, solidarity project, photo, videos...

What else?

I feel alive when I’m cooking, bringing people together, when I am travelling and meeting new people. I also love creating, event planning, I organized a small festival last year, we made it all by recycled materials we found in the streets!

My dream is to live in nature, being able to build my house, organizing holistic retreats, developing a cooking therapy concept, hosting cultural events...

As much as I enjoy sharing with others, I need my time on my own and intimacy especially when it comes to sleep. I won't feel like sharing a room/space while volunteering so I am travelling with a tent (just in case) :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Passionate about cooking since I was a kid, I have been cooking all my life. I'd be happy to share my passion, cook for you and to learn about local gastronomy.

I studied Communication Management for 3 years, I can help with Communication Strategy, the coordination of social media, the design of communication supports as well as event planning. I also love video editing!

I love being outdoors, surrounded by nature, taking care of the garden, animals. I would be happy to help with education project, art project, building, painting, general maintenance.
