Hello everyone! We are an Italian couple moving to Australia.
We’re excited to experience Australia in an authentic way, and sharing everyday life feels like the best way to make meaningful connections along the journey.

Since we would feel a bit ridiculous talking about our own qualities, we decided I would talk about Marco and vice versa 🙂

Maybe I'm a bit biased but I think Marco is a very smart and determined guy. He's really hard-working and when he has a project in mind he just keeps working until he finds a solution (maybe that’s why he became an engineer).
He likes to get his hands dirty and he never pulls back when it comes to learning something new.
He is an Energy Engineer and has plenty of plans for the future (and improving his English will help bring those plans to life).

Denni is funny, empathetic, and someone you can always rely on. She’s open-minded and loves stepping out of her comfort zone to try new experiences. She works in sales and has done a bit of everything in the past, from kindergarten teaching to waitressing, customer service, and babysitting.
She loves to travel and learning foreign languages, she speaks English, Spanish, French and German indeed.
Children instantly adore her (my nephew and niece go absolutely crazy for her!).

We both love nature and spending our free time outdoors. Some of our favourite activities are hiking, camping and exploring new places. When we're at home we enjoy playing board games, cards and reading books. We like cooking as well, and we often have fun experimenting with new recipes.

We already had a fantastic Workaway experience with a British-Canadian family, helping take care of a large, old-style English house surrounded by a huge garden. During our stay, we were involved in a wide variety of tasks: household chores, gardening, chopping wood, general maintenance, small DIY projects, as well as child and pet minding. It was a very enriching experience that allowed us to meet wonderful people, feel part of a family, and grow both personally and practically.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Marco:
I enjoy hands-on work and practical projects. My experience includes gardening, cooking, and general DIY, such as repairing items and basic welding. I’m persistent and enjoy figuring out solutions for any problem.

Denni:
Alongside cooking and helping with household tasks, I have experience in gardening, painting, and small DIY projects. I enjoy taking care of children and have worked in kindergartens and summer camps with kids aged 5–14. I can help with homework (except in mathematics, that’s Marco’s job 😄) and teach Italian, French, Spanish, and German. I’m happy to pitch in wherever needed, from household chores to outdoor tasks.

We’re not afraid to get our hands dirty. We are reliable, curious, and fast learners, always excited to try new things and pick up useful skills along the way!
