I'm planing a bikepacking Trip through the heartland of the United States in May. It's a big dream of mine to cycle through the deserts, Mountains and the Midwest of this huge Country.

Description

Hi, I'm Manuel (19 years of age) from Northern Germany. I started engaging with Workaway, because I'm curios to learn about regions and cultures beyond my comfort zone and local roots. Over the years I developed a deep passion for other countries and geographies. Once I'll graduate from highschhool in Last year, I'll have plenty of time and motivation to explore travelling and extended stays abroad. I'm into many kinds of sports, love outdoors and and good music. I especially enjoy untouched wilderness, the vastness of nature and bikepacking.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm someone who's always willing offer some help when asked. This could be helping with renavations, gardeing, moving or small DIY jobs. I'm openminded to pick up new or challenging tasks and consider myself a quick learner. As far as sports is concerned, I tried out many different kinds and have actively played soccer, basketball and volleyball over several years. Picking up physical work is not a problem, I rather be outdoors than doing desk work. As a student, I don't have any professional experience, but currently work part-time in a supermarket.

I love riding my Gravel bike and go on bikepacking tours. I'm comfortable undertaking things on my own, but I'm also a family person as the youngest of four siblings. From home and among friends, I'm used to spend time together, for example during meals or while playing board games. In those moments, my phone can stay in my pocket and I'm generally striving to limit social media consumption.
