Description

MY NEXT (2026/2027) TRAVEL WISHES: Ireland (of course!) and Canada (during northern summer); New Zealand (during northern winter); Italy (all the year, on the occasion)

I happily ended my sabbatical hosted by Lucia and Roberto (a smart and funny couple) in the beautiful town of Breganze (VI) on the slopes of the Asiago Plateau, a place of history and great italian writers and cinematographers. With Lucia and Roberto I added new skills in my life: they taught me how to prune and tie vines and how to build dry stone walls. I've loved learning these kind of job and I really hope I can do and emprove them again. In the meantime, I built them a staircase with steps made from the old beams of their beautiful, bright house under renovation. I fixed fences, pruned hedges and fruit trees, made minor repairs, and of course walked Tuzza, their lovely dog, through the streets and paths among the beautiful hills around Breganze. I'm left wanting to build the chicken house for them, but I hope there will be an opportunity in the future!
But now I'm back at work. Luckily I can handle it quite freely: I can be a workawayer only in the summer, while for the rest of the year only for some short periods (2-3 weeks).
Dear hosts, please read my complete profile below and, if you want to offer me something I haven't done yet, much better! I'd like to learn it (especially I'd like to learn how to weld...)

So well with Lucia and Roberto that I stayed with them about 6 months! Excellent the accomodation, with my own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.
