  Description

  Hi everyone. I am Gonzalo, form Spain, living in Malaysia since 2010. My wife and I have started the renovation of a lovely house beside the beach (Pantai Cenang) in Langkawi island (Malaysia). We have 6 rooms and a bit of land, a nice common area outside also.

  We are located in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi island. The local vibe here is huge. Locals are welcoming and chill. There are many things to do in the island too. Food is amazing and there is a nice cultural touch of the real Malaysia The island is big, even has an airport so it is easy to travel.

  Aide

  We are looking for people with energy, good vibes and helpful to make our project happen. If you have knowledge doing handy work, renovation work, gardening, wood furniture creation, art murals and so on you are most welcome. However as soon as you can help with stuff like cleaning, carrying things around and a million things more that don't require experience you are most welcome too.

  Hébergement

  You will stay in the dorm. It is a 6/8 people dorm with attached bathroom, air conditioner and ceiling fan. However like we are in the mist of renovation you might be able to have your own room. Rooms are really spacious and have attached bathroom air conditioner and ceiling fan. We have a full equipped shared kitchen open 24 hours for our volunteers. We serve meals for all of us, owners and volunteers, sporadically when we can find a spot to do so.

  Travelling to Langkawi can be done easily by road and ferry. There is also an airport, flying from Kuala Lumpur takes only one hour. The island is full of long white sandy beaches, mountains, mangroves... nature is amazing in here. There is life music every night in the beach and all sort of tours to enjoy or do by yourself. Renting a bike an going around the island is a must.
