I'm Makishi, or Max. I was born and raised in Japan, with a Japanese father and a Russian mother. I graduated a christian international school in Japan, and am currently an undergraduate student at Sophia University.
I'm heading to Canada this August on a working holiday visa. What I'm after is to get out of Tokyo for once, live and work somewhere else for a while, and be part of a household rather than just passing through. I'm flexible on the work and happy to commit properly to whatever you need a hand with.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am currently an English tutor with 6 months of experience. I also am a licensed real estate agent in Japan, helping out with my family AirBnb business.
My past work experiences include: Fitness Gym Employee, Udon Restaurant Employee, Koryouri (Basically a Japanese bar with an emphasis on food) employee, Infosys Intern, and frequent physical work (My house never stops renovating - so a whole lot of plank-carrying, and I drive my mother to IKEA, take all the furniture she likes back home and build it). I also used to have a garden before a typhoon devastated my cabbages.

My current hobbies are lifting, reading, meditating and philosophy. I've been lifting for about two years now, and always loved reading, especially contemporary literature. I recently discovered Sam Harris and his Waking Up meditation app, which genuinely seems to be changing my life for the better. I discovered my passion philosophy in my university, after the correct assumption that maybe I like it more than economics and switching majors.
