Description
Hi there! I discovered workaway a few years ago. So far, I've done three very different stays, and all of them were a lifetime experience. I always loved traveling, meeting new people and different cultures. As a tourist, I always felt a bit strange, as looking at something, but never being part of it. Also, with many people I met, I had the same talks, like where I was from, what I'm doing for the living and so on. So I felt a bit bored. Workaway gave me the chance to be a part of something, learn new skills, get to know people and their stories and make friends for a lifetime.
About me:
I'm openminded and my friends would describe me as energetic, very honest and funny. At home, in Zurich, I'm working as a nurse in a big hospital.
I have a bunch of hobbies and interests. To name a few at the moment: I'm learning to play the guitar, read a lot and do Pilates.
What I'm looking for:
I want to approve my Italian, as I'm not using it on a daily base. Also, I'd love to get inspired in the kitchen with cooking, baking and fermenting. As I'm working inside a building, I love to be outside, get my hands dirty and learn new skills in gardening and with animals. -

At the moment I am learning Italian. I can speak fluent German, English and can also teach it. My mothertongue is Serbo-Crotian, so I can speak lots of slawic languages, too. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I made my aprenticeship in an office, so I‘m used to telefoning, reception and Outlook. Then I worked for years in a hotel, where I cleaned and served drinks and food etc. Since a few years, I'm a nurse. I worked in a home for people with physical disabilities, then changed to a hospital.
Via Workaway I worked on a beach, where I helped to keep the place cleam an cook for guests. After this I worked on a rice farm, where I weeded and planted the paddy fields and took care of the animals and the vegetable garden. -

It was a lifetime experience! The island is beautiful, even in the deepest winter. Also it was very calm as the tourist season starts around late spring/ summer.

It was a magical time!! I had a beautiful place to sleep, where every evening I could watch the monkeys. As it was very hot, I often refreshed at the river in jungle with clean water and beautiful surrounding. The farm is in the middle of the nature!!
