Hi, I'm Maud (aka Maho) !

I'm a photographer, on the road solo since March 2026. After working as a sports photographer, I decided to take a break for a year or two of slow travel, new places, and new people.

I like to stay at least one or two weeks in each place. It gives me time to actually get to know where I am, not just pass through, and to build real connections with the people I meet along the way.

I love my craft and I'm always happy to put my photography and videography skills to use, whether that's documenting a project, a farm, an event, or the people behind it. But I'm just as happy rolling up my sleeves for hands-on work: whatever's most useful on the ground is what I want to do.
I'm also genuinely excited to learn new things : DIY, gardening, or anything else you can teach me.

Languages I can teach : French (native) and English (fluent), happy to help with conversation practice, grammar, or just chatting to build confidence. Languages I'd like to learn/practice : I'm not actively focused on a specific language right now, but I'd be happy to pick up some basics of the local language wherever I'm staying, or brush up on my (rusty) school-level Spanish if the opportunity comes up. Always open to learning !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Photography & videography : Several years of professional experience as a sports and music photographer, shooting fast-paced action, events, and people, using DSLR equipment. While traveling, I shoot with a Leica D-Lux 8. I also have experience as a videographer. Happy to help document your project, farm, guesthouse, or event through photos.

Art & creativity : I took art classes throughout my childhood and teenage years (painting, watercolor, drawing), so I'm comfortable with creative and artistic tasks.

Retail & customer service : 6 months of sales experience at a sport shop and 2 years working as a shop assistant in a bakery. Comfortable with customer-facing roles, teamwork, and fast-paced environments.

Childcare : Several years of babysitting experience during my teenage years.

Cooking : Vegetarian since 2019, so I've been cooking for myself ever since. I'm not a professional cook, but I manage well in the kitchen and enjoy it.

Languages : French (native), English (fluent), and basic Spanish (learned at school, though I haven't practiced in a while).

Adaptable & hands-on : Beyond these skills, I'm ready to help with whatever's needed on the ground ; cleaning, farm work, general maintenance, or anything else. I pick things up quickly and don't mind physical work.

Open to learning : I'm genuinely excited to develop new skills during this trip with gardening, DIY, or anything a host is willing to teach me.

Autres infos...

In the morning, you'll probably find me out for a run, at the gym, or hiking, I like staying active wherever I am. That said, I also love slowing down and just enjoying the present moment, wherever that may be. I'm also a big sports fan, especially football and tennis.

I'd say I'm more of a city girl at heart, but I equally love being out in nature. There's nothing like fresh air and green surroundings to recharge me.

Off the road, I'm a bit of a tea and pastry enthusiast, I love cooking, and trying new food wherever I go.
