Description

My name is Maggie. I grew up in Burlington, Vermont, home of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Then after graduating high school I went traveling for 2 years, doing farm exchanges, sailing and generally exploring. At first the US, and then some of Europe, Guatemala and the Caribbean. I recently graduated from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) with a degree in marine biology. I am now spending some time learning about organic farming in India, starting with an agroecology course at Navdanya Farm in Dehradun. I hope to supplement what I learn here by spending time on a variety of farms and learning from more farmers, while sharing what I learned here. I am a frisbee and football (soccer) enthusiast and I love boardgames! I also greatly enjoy cooking, and am happy to share dishes from my culture with hosts.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can do some construction work such as hanging sheetrock, muddling, Putting in flooring, painting. I have worked in hospitality and in a kitchen before, and am a fairly good cook. I also have rudimentary farming skills.
