Description
Hi, I'm Lucille!
I'm from the south of France, currently traveling and working in New Zealand. Soon, I'll be heading back to Europe with a stop in the Philippines on the way.
I'm not in a rush to return to a traditional lifestyle (work/eat/sleep). Instead, I want to keep discovering different ways of living and learning from inspiring people I meet along the way. My plan is to continue exploring the world, especially Europe, by doing more Workaway experiences. This way, I can keep meeting amazing people and creating unforgettable memories.
WHERE and WHEN?
The Philippines: Between March and April.
Europe: From April onward, anywhere I can travel with my car and my dog.
WHAT CAN I DO?
I’m happy to help with anything you need! Here's what I can offer:
> Tourism & Hospitality:
I’ve worked as a tour guide in France, so I can assist with welcoming visitors, providing information, creating tours and activities, and helping with digital communication and social media.
> Childcare & Animation:
I’ve worked in summer camps, organizing activities and games for kids, so I can bring some creative energy to community projects.
> Outdoor Work:
Over the past year in New Zealand, I’ve done a lot of horticultural work, including caring for apple trees, cherry picking, pruning kiwi vines, and planting sweet potatoes. I’ve discovered I love working outdoors, and I’m not afraid of physically demanding or challenging tasks!
ABOUT ME
I’m someone with a wide range of interests and an endless curiosity. I love starting new projects (though I admit I don’t always finish them because I get excited about the next idea...). For me, life is about learning and exploring!
What I enjoy:
I’m passionate about history, heritage, and ancient civilizations. I also love arts, music (even though I can’t play an instrument), reading, movies and photography (with a preference for analog photography).
Animals:
I adore animals and have an 8-year-old dog named Acho who’s a big part of my life. He’ll be joining me on my travels around Europe!
Cooking:
I’m not the best cook, but I’m a great assistant and would love to learn more.
Wellness & Spirituality:
Over the last few years, I’ve developed an interest in yoga, Ayurveda, and spiritual practices. I’d be thrilled to help in places that focus on wellness or share these passions.
Personality:
I’m open-minded and try to avoid judging others. While I can be a bit shy at first (especially in big groups), once I feel comfortable, I’m funny and easygoing. I enjoy deep, one-on-one conversations where I can learn about other people’s cultures, stories, and perspectives. I believe everyone has something unique to share, and that’s why I love traveling and engaging in cultural exchanges like Workaway.
