Description

Hi! I am Lucía, and I am an island girl coming from Gran Canaria, Spain, a place that I absolutely love because of its beautiful nature and people. I have been amazed about travelling since I was very young, as me and my parents used to travel different countries in a motorhome during the summers! This is the reason why I decided to move to the UK to study further education, and have had great experiences while living here.
I am a very responsible and independent person, but also sociable and fun to be with! I am also open minded and love to learn about different cultures and people.
It is very exciting for me to see what adventure will workaway bring to my life! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied Psychology in the UK, and have an excellent level of English. I also have experience working in counselling services for women who have experienced trauma, as well as working with children and adults with disabilities, so I am very keen in working with all types of people!
I speak Spanish as native language, English as second language and French (intermediate level). I am generally good at sports, and have practised multiple throughout my life, including swimming, tennis, volleyball, beach tennis and ultimate frisbee, and so I am happy to help with physical tasks! I love nature and I am very interested in helping out outside as well, as I also have some gardening experience!
