Hi!

I'm Lorette, 27, I have been working in NGOs in the Balkans for 3 years but grew up and studied in France before that, as I am French. I am fluent in French and English, trying to improve my Spanish and Italian and always ready to learn additional languages as well!

I would like to discover new cultures, meet new people and learn new skills, be it permaculture, building, sewing... My motivation in joining Workaway is to be able to do all of that and more, and to help however I can my (future) hosts on their project.

I also enjoy hiking, cats, watching series and talking about history, archeology and agriculture!
I have been riding horses for 17 years (classical/English, natural horsemanship, trail riding) and would love to be able to ride more and take care of horses!

I also worked in horse summer camps, as a tour guide, in an organic farm and in a museum, so I am able to do all kind of work, and not afraid to work outside in the field in sometime harsh conditions!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some experience gardening as I helped my mother on her organic farm (seedings, planting, watering, multiplication of strawberries...).
I also have experience preserving food with jams, pickling and lacto-fermentation.
I have experience taking care of cats and horses (17 years of riding experience).
I have some experience cooking as I when I worked in a summer camps I was cooking, and I cook for my family and friends as well (vegetarian dishes).
I have experience living in multicultural spaces through my work, volunteering and travel.
I also have experience in project management, translation, budgeting and even organsing.
More globally, I have experience in working hard, learning, and sharing whatever knowledge and skills I have which can be useful!
