Hello there!
Hard facts about myself & past experiences:
I am Linda - a fresh baked, 25 years old graduate from Germany. The last years have been busy with studying law, but back in 2016 and the two following years I enjoyed several Workaway places: I used to work a lot with horses in Ireland, Iceland and Norway. Tasks included training of young horses, taking tourists on tours, taking care about the horses and stables in general and doing all kind of work connected to these animals. Besides horses I also worked with sheep on a sheep farm in northern Norway during autumn - the tasks were mainly about sheep gathering and building fences. Additionally I volunteered in a hostel in Ireland and supported the family I used to life with at the Irish horse stud.
I also lived in Ljubljana (Slovenia) for a little while to study law (Erasmus exchange 2020/2021).
Now I decided to take another year "off" before starting my traineeship for becoming a full qualified jurist. I will work in hospitality during summer and I hope that I can safe enough money for another workaway experience later in the year :)
What am I looking for?
Since it's my big dream to move to the countryside on day and renovate a house myself, I am looking for a place where I can gain more craftman skills in general. I converted my van a few years ago myself and realized that I enjoy all kind of work around "building something". Since I love animals and food, I am also more than happy to be at a place where animal care and gardening is needed.
"Soft" facts about me:
It's a funny feeling trying to describe myself. In general I would say that I am an open minded person and that I'm curious about life and people. Traveling (and hitchhiking) alone taught me well to be patient and optimistic. I do enjoy having people around me and being social. At home I am sharing a place with four other humans, we enjoy sharing meals, stories and jokes together. I think that I am a fast learner and a hard worker. I find it very satisfying seeing a result after a day of work. :) My friends describe me as being (very) efficient, reliable and well organized. If they ask me a question they know they will get an honest answer. This sounds way more serious than I am actually.
What can I share?
A pair of hands wherever needed. A happy face while doing things. A nice meal in the evenings. Chats about life & politics. Laughter. An open ear if needed. Stories from the past and dreams for the future.
What else am I interested in?
At home I am training Muay Thai and enjoy seeing friends for little adventures in and around the city. Once I am in the countryside I love going hiking and doing other outdoor sports like climbing or snowboarding.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Most of my experiences are with horse work. I am used to every kind of work around horses..mucking out, feeding, brushing them, training etc. But I would also like to learn new things about other animals! In case you can call it a skill...I also painted many fences so far haha. I'm not the worst cook, but I don't eat meat. I'm open for every kind of other work - painting, farm work, housekeeping etc. I've got experience in this kind of work during my stay on another Irish farm and in an Irish Hostel during my gap year.
I am open for every help you need, just explain me! :) I'm a fast learner, so maybe I will have some new skills soon ;)
