Hey potential hosts and fellow workawayers :)
My company allowed me to do a sabbatical, a whole year off while still being employed, and I started travelling the world last Christmas. So far I had some great months in South East Asia and the Pacifics and I'm now super motivated to discover North and Middle America! Since I have more time than on usual holiday trips I love going beyond being a mere tourist and get to know the country through meeting its people. I'm easy to talk with (preferably in English although I do understand some French), interested in other people's passions, polite and most of the time in a good mood (especially while traveling).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With regards to my professional skills, I studied industrial engineering and I'm working now as a procurement manager for electronical parts in the space industry.
The probably more useful skills are that I'm able to cook, clean and fulfil general tasks around the house. Back home I live in my own apartment so I need to be able to take of myself :) but I also lived in shared flats before, so I'm happy to take up chores assigned to me. I don't have much gardening experience but I'm ready to get my hands dirty. I've worked for a couple of days on a farm in New Zealand and helped moving cattle and sheep.

I'm most interested in a lively exchange and getting to know country and people. Back home I play volleyball in a mixed team (lowest league, just for fun :) ) and the clarinet in a wind orchestra. I'm also participating in Tahitian dance classes and just like to be out and about with friends. I'm interested in astronomy and support the Ferrari Formula 1 team :)
