We, Tom and I, are excited to spend some time volunteering during our journey around South America, combining our passions for sustainability, community, and animal welfare. Tom works in sustainability, focusing on environmental conservation and green initiatives, and he’s eager to apply his skills to eco-friendly projects along the way. I have a deep love for animals and am passionate about supporting community-driven efforts that improve both animal welfare and local livelihoods. Together, we want to contribute to meaningful projects that align with our values and make a positive impact wherever our travels take us! We are both down to earth and love spending time in nature and having a laugh with good people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Liliana -
I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a postgraduate masters in clinical psychology and mental health. I have volunteered as a counsellor with Childline supporting children's emotional needs, and as an assistant psychologist at a charity supporting survivors of torture. I have a worked at a number of different charities supporting a vast range of populations: disabled people, survivors of modern day slavery and human trafficking and victims of all types of crime. My experience has provided me with people skills, building trust and positive relationships, advocacy, a good work ethic, managing complex situations, patience, commitment and resilience. I have a a great love for animals, especially dogs, and have worked part-time along my other roles as a pet sitter looking after a range of different types of animals.

Tom -
I have a bachelors degree in Geography and have 6 years experience as a Sustainability Manager. I have spent my recent years managing a small team, and delivering sustainable goals within the London construction industry, focusing ion carbon, resource efficiency and social value. My experience has provided me with an understanding of what kind of leader I am, and how I can work cohesively within a team of mixed personalities. Similarly to Lils, I love making friends with fellow animals. I also have a passion for sport and thrive with physical tasks. I hope that the volunteering experiences that Lils and I have will also open my eyes to some new skills that I didn't realise I had!
