Description

Hi! My name is Lili, I’m 23 years old and from the Netherlands, with Hungarian roots through my mother, so I also speak Hungarian. I studied fine arts and I really enjoy working with my hands and being creative.
I like practical work such as building, gardening, cooking, making art, and working together with people. I converted my own van into a small home, which was a great project that taught me a lot about building and problem solving.
As a person I’m calm, curious, and I learn quickly. I enjoy observing, helping where needed, and learning by doing. I’m especially interested in learning more about living and working together in groups or communities.
At the moment I’m traveling through Morocco with my backpack, hitchhiking and discovering the country along the way. Through Workaway I hope to share experiences, learn new skills, and contribute wherever I can.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a wide range of practical skills and enjoy learning by doing. While I’m not a professional in these areas, I have a solid basic knowledge and feel comfortable working with my hands.
I have experience with woodworking and basic metal work, and I enjoy building and fixing things. At art school I spent a lot of time in workshops, where I learned the basics of welding and working with different materials.
Together with my father I converted my own van into a small home. During this project I learned a lot about working with wood, installing basic electricity, and building practical solutions for small spaces.
I also enjoy working in the garden, cooking, and helping with general practical tasks. I have a small basic knowledge of electricity and water systems and would love to develop these skills further.
In my free time I also like to sew and often make or repair my own clothes.

In my free time I enjoy making music, sewing, reading, and writing. I also love cooking and sharing meals with others — for me it’s one of the nicest ways to connect with people.
I like spending time outside as well, especially going for walks and exploring new places. Simple things like working with my hands, being creative, and sharing time with others make me happy.
