Hey there! I’m Lilian—a Chinese American who grew up in both China and California, now making NYC my home. I’m all about creativity, adventure, and animals (shoutout to my border collie and ginger cat!). Whether it’s photography, DIY project, or exploring the great outdoors, I’m always up for something new.

Currently, I’m a clinical psychology grad student and a remote crisis counselor. I studied psychology and photography during undergrad, and my love for storytelling and human connections runs deep. This summer, I’ll be off on a big adventure—traveling, exploring, and growing along the way!

I speak Chinese and English fluently, and after two years of studying Japanese, I can hold a simple conversation (頑張ります！). Having lived in both China and the U.S. for about a decade each, I love experiencing different cultures and seeing the world from fresh perspectives.

When I travel, you’ll find me hiking, skiing, or running through nature, getting lost in museums, or wandering through historical sites. Every place has a story to tell, and I can’t wait to learn more about the world—and myself—through these experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Lilian:
- Art: digital/film photography (portrait, animals, landscape, etc.), photo editing (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom), video editing
- Animal care: experienced with dogs and cats (had pets for 10 years)
- Language: fluent English, fluent Chinese (Mandarin), daily conversation level Japanese
- Child care: worked with children from 5-year-old to 12-year-old as a teacher assistant and tutor
- Housework: room decoration, light woodwork, painting (mural, art piece, etc.), basic cooking and baking
- Barista work: I worked at a boba shop and a coffee/juice shop for a couple of years, so I'm able to make milk tea, coffee, and fresh juice/smoothies. :D

I'm also able to teach any skills above. :)

She's also a minimalist, not too extreme though.
