Hello there!

My name is Liv, I'm 19 yo and from Sweden. I graduated last year and have been working and travelling for a year. I'm currently travelling with my best friend through Europe, and we'll be back home in july 2026.

I have always been very curious about cultures and different ways of life. That's why I love Workaway, because it gives me the oppertunity to meet new people and experience different lifestyles. So far I have learned a lot from my travels, and I would love to learn even more! I also have a big interest in languages. Right now I'm working on my French, but I would also love to learn Spanish, Italian, German and Arabic.

My hobbies and interests are many. I grew up close to nature and animals, which made me passionate about animal rights and environment issues. I dream about having my own self-sufficiant farm one day. I also love hiking and camping, because nature always makes me feel calm and optimistic. I'm creative too and do a lot of writing. I also like to paint, crochet and read books.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Animals and Farming:
I'm good with animals and have some experience with animal care and farmlife. I've had two cats and my grandparents own a farm with chickens, sheep, horses, pigs, dogs and cats. Sometimes I help them with general maintenance and feeding the animals.

Cleaning and cooking:
I have a lot of experience of cleaning, since I used to work with cleaning trams. And I am good at keeping a household tidy. Furthermore I can cook, but also would love to learn more about different cuisines and ways of cooking.

DIY projects:
I have some experience of building IKEA furniture :)
I would be interested in learning more about buildning and renovation projects, gardening and pottery.

We were very lucky to have Liv and Klara spend three weeks of their trip with us. Although they were a little reserved at first, they quickly opened up and became two wonderful, kind, and helpful young women.

I spent 2 wonderful months here with Aurelie, Fabrice, Elouna, Elisabeth, Clint and Tokyo. Aurelie is very kind and helpful. She was also eager to show me her town and gave me a lot of advice on what to do in Brittany, which I appreciated a lot. Her vegetarian food was delicious and she let me try a lot of tasty cheese :)
