Description

I have traveled a lot and have work in 5 overseas countries. Since my divorce in 2007, I have been a very active host on Couchsurfing.com, and hosted over 200 world travelers.
I shared raised 3 daughters who are now grown up and in their 20s.
I am semi retired carpenter, and still quite healthy for my age. I like to eat good nourishing food and to keep fit. I intend to do as much traveling as I can, with my next trip to Japan.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a carpenter by trade. I grew up on a coastal farm. Work on constructing Water slide parks in 4 overseas countries, - Indonesia, Cyprus, China, Vietnam, and also lived in England for 6 months. First traveled around the world for a year when I was 27y. Oh what a great experience that was. Stayed with so many people who I met while traveling, and offered to host me. My very first couchsurf experience in a foreign country, was in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1984. It was wonderful.
I am a very handy and capable person. I am very good with children, having raised my own 3 daughters, and taught them every thing from walking to abseiling down cliff, Land sailing to snow skiing , riding push bike to driving cars and many other adventures. I love cooking and learning to cook different styles. Going on Bush walks, and been out in nature.
