Hello out there!

We're Lien en Manu, we're living in Paris and for the moment, we're tired of its noise, its grey buildings, its stressed inhabitants. We're up for a big long journey in the search for some beatifull landscapes, calm places and destressed people to be around with! It's just recently that we discovered this website, and since we're both not very keen on hotel-vacations and have loads of energy, we decided to share this energy with others and look for a place were we can help out a bit!

Lien used to travel this way before, visit friends or communities she knew here and there, and stay here for a while while helping them in the household or with projects they're up to for that moment. Both of us met in a squat in Paris, were we gave artists a chance to work and exhibit for free, so they had a fair chance in this expencive city. There we figured out that we have the same way of standing in life, that both of us try not to care as much of money but of people and experiences.

Since we're both used to live with other people, we're also used to adapt easily in different situations - they're a lot of different people in this big big world :) We think we fit in just right in the spirit of Workaway and we hope to find some nice places to stay the next few months!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We'd love to learn more about organic farming, but actually we're up for any kind of job in a warm environment. We love cooking, helping out in the household, working with animals, working with children, give a hand in little projects...

We are a good team, since we supplement eachother. I (Lien) can teach English, Manu's mother language is French. I'm more practical, he's an artist. At home, I cook vegetarian, but he's the best in preparing bourgondic meat-dishes! His know-how and enthousiasm is huge, but he has a weak back. I'm not that handy and need some directions to get started with things, but I know how to work long and hard, so together we make a perfect duo!

We don't have problems with getting out or comfort zone, we're up to learn and experience new things!
