Dear Hosts,
My name is Levon .

🏥 Certified Saint John’s ambulance first aid CPR & AED November 2022.

🤿 SDI open water diving certification August 2023

A professional chef by trade I have been in the food & beverage🍽️🍷 and hospitality industry🛎️ for the past 30 years.
Through this time period, I have had the opportunity to practice my profession on 4 different continents 🌐, from resorts in the Caribbean 🏖️ mountain destination hotels in Whistler B.C and Lake Louise⛷️, Heliskiing lodges in Canada, crossing the Atlantic and working in Europe, on a cruise ship, B&B's, agriturismos 🛳 and finally going to South Africa and volunteering at a safari lodge🦁.

I have had the opportunity to work in highly rated hotel chains to intimate family run B&B's 🛎️.
I have been a fortunate to be a frequent traveler all my life🚵‍♂️, always eager to jump at the opportunity to learn, help out and challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone.

I also do amateur stand-up comedy and theatre.🎭 🎤 and recently interested in hat making.🎩.
I am confident that by being a member with Workaway, I have in the past and will continuously be able to open doors in the future to a world that still remains undiscovered for me.

During my stay I learned the workings of a small hotel nestled in the quaint village of Tochni, garnished with interesting conversations throughout my stay.
My room was more then adequate with all the amenities (A/C, internet and private washroom).

he worked with us in our pomegrenet farm, and we were blown away by his happy and considering attitude, his demending work ethic, and his lovely personality.
his connection with the other volunteers and with us the host was naturall and real.

I was with Alfonsina for 13 days and I have to say it was home away from and plus with a much better setting. I got emmersed in regional Italian cooking, helped with garden work and daily horse stable maintenance.

Although my stay was short I genuinely felt the warm welcome from Massimiliano and Leila. It was not the busy season yet, that said, I helped out with breakfast service and dinner service whenever there was reservations.
I had a pleasant stay and my living quarters were more then adequate.
