Hello everyone,

I'm Leticia 34 years old from The Hague in The Netherlands. I have joined workaway by recommendation from a friend. I think this is a good way to get to know more about other countries and to see how people live their daily life. Of course with the technology and internet nowadays you can easily see it in your own home, but to be in that country or place is just a different experience. Currently I'm traveling and following Spanish classes in Costa Rica. Afterwards I'm planning to travel in November to do voluntary work in Colombia and in December to travel in the Caribbean Islands. By joining Workaway I can also contribute in helping in a community. Because of that I can learn new skills and improve my skills, also grow as a person. In the past I did voluntary work and helped foreign students in the Dutch language.

Dance has always been my passion, I started following dance classes from a early age and took the step to study Dance Education. I graduated as BA in Dance Education and in my profession I give dance classes for anyone and everyone:) In addition I worked in the last three years in childcare, combined I also worked the past 6 months in a hotel as a housekeeper. In Colombia I'll be joining a project where will be doing different activities like cleaning the beach, helping in a childcare center and organising activities for children.

I'm interest in learning new skills but also develop the skills I have. For example I'm interest in learning how to use and maintain a boat. Because I want to get a boat license and planning for next year to follow a course on how to sail.
Also working on my Spanish, French and English and am interested in learning German. I like to fix and do things in the house for example painting, DIY works etc. If there's someone who shares my interests let me know and hopefully...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated in Education for Dance and Art. In my career I work as a dance teacher. I also worked in childcare, gave dance workshops for kids from 4-10 years. A side of that I organised with my colleagues different activities for the children.

I'm a doer, observer and thinker. I like to stay fit and healthy, so I excercise a lot. For example hiking, dancing, swimming and mostly stretching.
