Hello :)
My name is Leonie, I am 21 years old and live in Bavaria, Germany. I have recently finished my apprenticeship as industrial clerk and I am currently working in that company. In October I will then start studying.
I have always been interested in travelling and seeing the world. So my boyfriend and I decided to see Europe by travelling via Interrail after our A-Levels. Since then we‘ve been on vacation together a few times, but I have also travelled alone. Last year I had my first solo travel as well as Work and Travel experience in an animal rescue in Portugal. I had a great time there and learned a lot, so decided to do something like that again. Currently I am looking for something in Europe, more up in the North like Norway, Sweden, Finnland or Ireland as I have been more in the South the past years and didn't have the chance to see the North. I am especially curious about the nature there, with its unique landscapes, meaning the big mountains and lakes, wide and open fields as well as the forests. I would love to see and explore that. Besides that I hope to find something where I can work with animals or be outside a lot cause I am really keen about that. We have animals at home as well and live in a house without neighbours, very connected to nature. I would love to use that knowledge and passion. But generally I am very open and not antipathetic about other experiences like working with kids or helping in a Hostel/Hotel.
That’s why I decided to make myself a profile here :). I am really looking forward to a new Work and Travel Experience and I really hope to find something that suits me and fits my expectations.
