Hello,

We are a married Danish couple, Ulrik (52) and Lene (51). We live in a small town on the island of Funen.
Our youngest son, who is 19, is still living with us, and our oldest son, who is 22, recently moved to Copenhagen to study.

Lene has been working as an accountant and as a financial controller, but is not working at the moment. Ulrik also started out as an accountant (that’s how we met), but moved on to work in the pharma industry 25 years ago.

We are friendly, curious and caring people. We love spending time with friends and family, hiking/walking/biking/paddling (SUP) in the surrounding nature, going to concerts, dining, reading, traveling, learning about other peoples way of life, etc.

Italy is the country that we have traveled the most. We just love it. Before Covid, we actually tried to learn italian, but we didn’t keep it up - and therefore our Italian skills are almost non existing.

In October we have decided to drive to Italy - and among other things - hopefully spend some time as workawayers. We have never tried this before, but we both think that it sounds like the perfect opportunity to get to know the italian people and their culture in a completely different and more authentic way, than when we stay in a hotel.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We live in a house, so we are used to cleaning, gardening, cooking etc. and will be happy to help out in any way we can. If there are tasks to be solved og chores to be done that we are not familiar with, just show us, what to do, and we will give it our best shot.
Although Danish is our native language, we both speak and write English almost fluently, and we will be able to help someone practice and improve their language skills.
We are eager to learn about other people's lives and cultures, and we believe that we both have good listening and communication skills.
