Hi 🌻
My name is Lea and I am currently taking a gap year (or months) as I just have finished my studies as a speech therapist.
Originally I am from Austria - the western part with a lot of mountains and nature, but in the previous years I have lived in various European cities like Vienna, Bolzano or Bucarest.
I am passionate about being outdoors. Doesn't matter if it's a bikepacking trip, hiking in the mountains, doing acro yoga in the park or harvesting veggies from the garden.
I f I would need to describe myself, I would say that I am a very open-minded person, curious to get to know other lifestyles and ways of living and very respectful to personal needs and spaces.
I think when living and working in comunity it is important to be a mindful listener and a constructive feedback giver and receiver.
In previous workaway experiences I was feeding animals, helping in the garden, looking after children, painting and doing creative stuff.
In general I love cooking - also for larger groups, I keep my things tidy and clean, can entertain myself but on the same hand love being surrounded by likeminded people, sharing skills and languages and doing (acro) yoga together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- cooking: also for big groups, especially vegetarian and vegan dishes
- animal care: I grew up with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses, in previous workaway experiences I was also looking after pigs, cattle and dogs
- child care: in my youth I was a babysitter
- help with tourists: in the past I was working as a waitress and in a tourist office
- gardening: I grew up with a veggie garden, every now and then I am helping friends with their piece of land where they are using permaculture

Janel and Tim are very flexible when it comes to the working hours and also to the time of staying. (Our next host cancelled our stay from one day to another, so we had no place where we can go next. But it was no problem to stay longer.) Thank you guys!
It was a pleasure to work with you guys.
I had the chance to help in the kitchen, in the garden and doing ameneties. So plenty of things to try.
The team at the cafe is very nice and easy-going. The working climate there is great. Even it is busy they are out for jokes :D
