Hello !
We are Léandre (23 yo) and Kelsang (21 yo), two students in architectures from south of France. Currently in a gap year, after our bachelor's degree, we wanted to travel in order to open our mind to new cultures, learn new skills, and meet awesome people. And to do that we chose Colombia !

We will travel for 2 months there, from march to april:
In march, we will travel separately, to learn to adapt to new environments, to learn the language, and meet new people with workaway on our own.
In April we will meet up again and look for workaway to do in duo.
In this account we are looking for either workaways that are for 1 person (for march) or 2 (for april).

Here is a quick presentation of me (Leandre):

I am a young extrovert man, that is very curious and engaging with people. I love to learn new things, by discussing with people, or by doing new things. I am not afraid to get dirty gardenning or cleaning and to do difficult task. I am fit, i like sport in general, but I really like playing basketball and running.
I am very easy to live with, clean, and very respectful (of people, animals and the environment).
I am vegeterian in France for environmental issues, and the wellness of animals. I would like to eat as little meat as possible during my trip, but I can adapt and eat meat if it is absolutely necessary.
I learned english during an exchange year in Texas, that I did when I was 15 years old. So I already have experience with living with new people, and creating bonds quickly.
French is my native language and i speak very well english. But my spanish skills are quite poor. So I would really like to practise and learn the language during my stay in Colombia !
From learning the language, to building stuff, from learning new traditional recipes to new incredibe people. I am very excited for this trip, and maybe if you are reading this, we will meet in Colombia !

Hello,

My name is Kelsang, I am 21 years old, and I am quite an open-minded person, although I sometimes struggle to be outgoing with people. However, one of my goals for this trip is to work on this aspect of myself by trying to connect more with others.

I have participated in various volunteer projects over the past four years, and these experiences have always been incredibly enriching and fulfilling for me. I learn a lot from them and get to witness firsthand the results of our work. I am not afraid to take on challenging tasks as long as I am capable of accomplishing them.

I am very passionate about art, including cinema, architecture, painting, and music and i can talk about passionately for hours. I am always eager to learn new things through sharing references and experiences.

I am fluent in French and have some basic knowledge of English and Spanish. One of my main goals during this stay abroad is to improve my Spanish as much as possible.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both did an internship with an association that restores and build a few houses in the south of France using only traditional methods. We had the opportunity to build a roof with stone (Lauze's roof), we did a dry stone wall, we made some soil/straw coating for the walls, and many other things like that !
As architecture students we also like to design and build things, in general. We are not afraid to get dirty, and to do physical work.
