Hello everybody,

We are Léa and Martina, a French/Italian couple.

We arrived in Canada in May 2026 on a Working Holiday Visa. We are currently spending the summer near the Rockies in Alberta, and we are now looking for our next adventure on Vancouver Island, starting in October.

A little bit about us:

Martina is a photographer and cook, with a passion for sports, travel, and the outdoors. She loves preparing meals, sharing food with others, and can happily help with cooking, gardening, and everyday life around the house.

Léa has a background in wildlife documentary filmmaking and works part-time remotely for a non-profit organization. She is a practical and hands-on person, comfortable with tools, maintenance, gardening, and outdoor projects. She can build a fence… but maybe not a whole house (yet) :)

Together, we are the "Garden Angels", a nickname we earned during a previous Workaway experience thanks to our enthusiasm for helping out and getting our hands dirty!

We both speak fluent English and love sharing skills, experiences, and good moments with people from different backgrounds.

Last year, we collaborated with the NGO SOS Méditerranée on a humanitarian project called "The Med Highway": an 8,000 km motorcycle journey along the Mediterranean coast of Italy and France.

We are curious, open-minded, and always happy to learn new things. We enjoy being part of meaningful projects and contributing wherever help is needed.

We can’t wait to discover what Vancouver Island has to offer: wildlife, kayaking, hiking, camping and hopefully many new adventures!
