Hello!
I'm Laurie, 24, a licensed psychologist. I've had the "travel fever" since I was young and I have been lucky to travel to many countries!
My favorite trips are those where I had the opportunity to learn about the real life of the locals. I've always been passionated about history and cultures, so I've decided to try the Workaway Adventure!
To describe myself, I'am a social person who loves talking and listening (I didn't chose my career by chance...). I like reading, spending time outside, seeing my friends,... and I love all kind of animals!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a great experience in looking after kids. I have animated loads of summer camps with kids and teenagers from 2,5 years to 20 years, and I sometimes babysit.
As I said in my description, I love animals, especially dogs and horses whose I have a little of experience with. I'm not afraid of taking care of animals.
I have some experience in the hospitality/catering world. I worked in a cafe, in a restaurant, but also in some high-end events (big weddings, Spa Francorchamps, castle's restaurant)
I volunteered in three music festival in Belgium: "Les Ardentes", "Dour Festival" and "Le Micro Festival", where I worked at the bar and at the merchandising stand.
I work well in groups, but I'm also very autonomous.
I would like to improve my creative skills, and I would love to learn to paint, make some DIY's.
Unfortunately, I'm not good at lifting heavy charges!
