Description
Hi! My name is Lauren, I am 24 years old, born and bred from Bristol, UK. I work within the events industry, on a combination of live and outdoor events and corporate events. This is quite seasonal work and I am now hoping to start a few years of travelling during the winter and working during the summer. Whilst I haven't seen too much of the world so far, I did do two short solo trips (around 1 month each) to Europe & South America when I was 18 & 19. I am 24 now and looking for a more sustainable and long term way to travel.
A few of my favourite things include reading and yoga (which I try to do most days). I have been learning to play the piano for the past year which I enjoy, although not too good yet! I am also a very sociable person but also really appreciate alone time which is why solo travel suits me well!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Working within outdoor events has given me quite a few useful and practical skills as we typically need to do whatever it takes to get the job done! I have driven many types of vehicles (buggys, small forklifts etc.) and can pick things up quite easily. Some example jobs include gardening. strimming hedges, digging trenches for powerlines, building fencelines etc.
In a previous life I worked as a cleaner within offices and pubs for several years. I also absolutely love cooking and am a half decent bar tender!! I used to cook large group dinners when I lived in my last couple of shared houses so am used to cooking for one to twenty people.
I speak English fluently and am open to teaching/ helping with language development.
My events career also gives me a pretty good baseline of all things computer-based (basic web development, digital marketing and social media, plus Excel spreadsheets may be my forte haha).

I love swimming!! And I have a pretty hard time saying no to any kind of adventure challenge...
As in my career, something I am super passionate in are holding and hosting events. Even if it is just gathering a group of people together for a bonfire and food or games night or themed murder mystery dinner, these are the situations I truly enjoy being apart of.
