Hello everyone,

We are Lara and Eric, students living in Munich, in the south of Germany :)

Lara:
I am 23 years old, studying Social Work, and working part-time at a climbing gym.
I graduated from high school in 2020, and although I had planned to do a voluntary service in South Africa, the pandemic changed my plans.
Instead, I discovered Workaway and had some of the best experiences of my life.
I spontaneously went to Switzerland and volunteered at a family hostel, worked at a porcelain factory in Austria, and helped renovate a house in Sweden.

Now, I am excited to spend my summer break making new memories and meeting wonderful people through Workaway with my boyfriend, Eric.


Eric:
I´m 27 years old, and currently pursuing my Master's degree in Medical Technology.
In my leisure time I have a passion for sports, especially tennis, football, and beach volleyball. I'm really looking forward to trying out new activities and experiences.

I spent six months living in Rome during my Erasmus exchange program, sharing an apartment with people from all over the world. This time in Rome was incredible; I cherished the cultural exchanges and formed friendships with people from around the globe. This experience has greatly fueled my desire to seek out more opportunities like this.


We have enjoyed couchsurfing and traveling during our previous semester breaks, but this summer, we are eager to try Workaway. We are looking forward to taking a break from our studies and helping out wherever needed.

Whether it’s babysitting, doing handyman work, or anything else, we are open-minded, enthusiastic, and always ready to learn new things :)

We hope to meet you soon and create some amazing experiences together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have the ability to pitch in wherever help is needed and are open to a variety of tasks, including learning new skills.

Both of us are quite sporty and have no reservations about taking on physical work.

Additionally, we both have experience with childcare, as we have both done babysitting during our studies in Munich. Lara’s studies in Social Work have also given her extensive experience working with children and people in various settings.

We are excited to contribute, learn new things, and make a positive impact wherever we go.
