Hola everyone :)
My name is Li, 20 years old, and born in Germany.
Already when I was small, my parents travelled a lot with me, so maybe thats why its one of my biggest passions.
Always when I got the oppurtunity, I went abroad: For example in Grade 10 I studied for half a year in Ireland, living with a host family. And the year before, I spend some weeks with an exchange student at a school in Marseille.
My parents seperated when I was 2, so I also got used to live in different places and not having one stable home at an early age.
In 2021 I graduated from german Highschool with the best grade possible (1.0) - but it had its price. I always had fun learning, but I myself was way to ambitious and I realized I need to do something completely different.
So after a summer of travelling in Europe, I went for one year with the German Red Cross to Dominican Repblic, working as a volunteer in an NGO.
At the same time I also started working with street dogs and teaching english.
This year really changed my life.
So after a few months working in Hamburg, I returned to DR with my dog, volunteering at a hostel for half a year, before going to visit family in the US for 2 months.
So I really like seeing new places, getting to know different people and cultures, and share time, experiences, skills.
I am a very curious person, kind and responsible. I like people with great humour, an open mind, and tolerance.
I am a very active and outdoor person, so sitting all day long on a desk inside is not really my thing ;) I love sports, especially related to water (surfing, wind surfing, swimming, diving, snorkling). I also like reading and writing, apart of being an animal and nature lover.
I am looking now for new adventures, things to learn and share, and I would love to get to know some of you guys out there in person!

I am able to teach german and english, and I would be very interested in learning more grammar in spanish (my spanish is very good, but as I never had classes, I would apprechiate some technical knowledge ;) I had french in school and I am still very good in understanding, but unfortunately I lost a lot of my speaking abilities ...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I already did a lot of different things, as I really like to gain new knowledge :)

I worked in an ice cream shop, in a pizza place and in a café (barista and waitress). I spreaded out flyers for different companies and helped younger kids with their homework/ exam learning. I also did some elderly care and fundraising.

I was working in an NGO for people with disabilities and child education and care. I had my own english class for a year and was working with homeless animals (mainly cats and dogs). I worked in a hostel for half a year as receptionist and in client service (sometimes kitchen).

I did various internships, for example: garden maintainance, veterinarian, publishing house/ journalism/ article writing, book store, city hall, hospital.

I have my lifeguard certificate and I am very experienced in dog training and horse back riding.
