Hello! We are Sam and Kyle, two best friends from Ireland who have travelled together many different times and now want to go further with help of hosts on Workaway. Big fans of nature, art, good conversations, meeting new people, building community and having new experiences of different places!

We both love to do rewarding work, especially when it means overcoming challenges, learning new skills or helping people! Sam has travelled all over the world in recent years, working in Madagascar, Kenya, London, France (where he has family in Paris) and many others! Kyle works as an artist and film/theatre-maker, which has brought him to places all over Ireland, the UK, and Europe (ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen, es ist nicht toll, aber ich lerne!)

When staying with others we are very happy to help out, to exchange cultures, language, or even some of our music and arts. Both of us were raised on farms and so are no strangers to hard work, we would be very happy to spend time working outdoors, having grown up working with animals, carpentry and problem-solving.

Like most Irish, we are lovers of great conversation, fun, and storytelling, so we would love to bring some of that to you also!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Very comfortable with manual labour of most kinds, and happy to learn more in the realms of carpentry or any outdoors/ yard work. We both have lots of experience working with animals (dogs, cats, cows, chickens, goats), and people! Kyle enjoys working with children and has been involved in caring for and teaching young-people of all ages in many different contexts. Sam has worked in teams of all different sizes from project-managing, to sales, to assisting on safari.

We are both very competent cooks and would love to cook a meal or two for any host we stay with :)

Our 'fun' skills include: Music! We have both worked as professional music performers and play a variety of instruments! We're also trained in theatre and as artists so we're always up for fun, acrobatics, clown, juggling, painting!

We enjoy being outdoors, hiking, seeing nature and different ways of life, when we're indoors we like reading & writing, playing and creating music, playing boardgames (favourites are Dungeons&Dragons, or RISK), doing arts & crafts with others, and sharing stories. Recently becoming more and more interested in finding ways to build community with others
