Travelling through Europe in our campervan

Description

Hey there,
we are Esther (35) and Thorsten (40), married couple with no kids from Germany living in our van 🚐 together with our dog Indira 🐶.
We are travelling a lot (52 countries so far) and are interested to see much, much more of the world but with a slow pace to really get to know people, areas and understand more of the places where we are.
We love the outdoors and animals, vegetarian/vegan food, yoga, gardening, and learning about different approaches and perspectives of life. Esther is the “main workawayer”, the one who does most of the daily tasks as Thorsten is working remotely full time as a software engineer. In the last Workaways it has worked out pretty well like that. If there are works that need 2 people he can be flexible and is always happy to lend a helping hand after his work hours or on the weekend.
Esther is a fast learner, reliable and trustworthy and experienced in many different work fields such as social work, flight attending, project management but also now in caring for different animals, garden works or DIY projects.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked with children (teaching, tutoring and babysitting), elderly people (care and special programs) and people with special needs in different work settings. I am a studied social worker but have also worked as a flight attendant and project assistant in one of Germany’s biggest construction project for railways. I have volunteered in India in a school with kids with special needs and assistance requirements. And in Austria on a farm with horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits etc. there I was assisting in the horse therapy sessions and animal pedagogy with school classes. But was also living in the stables and helping with all the chores there, which was sometimes pretty tough work especially during the cold austrian winter months .
I am horse riding since I’m a child and used to have many horses to take care of including all stable works. I am a quick learner, hard working and very flexible. But also enjoy my time around people, getting to know them and spending good times together.

My husband and I are travelling in our camper van. While he is working remotely full time I am looking for interesting projects to participate and to help with. So if there would be a parking place for our self sufficient van that would be ideal but not necessary.
