Hello! :)
My name is Kirsty, I was born and raised in Scotland but I have spent the last 7 years travelling around the world.
I have experienced many cultures and customs and, after having spent 9 months volunteering in Mexico, have fallen in love with the Spanish language.
I would love to perfect my Spanish while sharing my knowledge of English and so for me, a language exchange would be ideal!
I enjoy cooking and discovering different cuisines as well as partaking in cultural traditions.
I am active and love sports/activities that get the blood pumping such as hiking, cycling, surfing, ball sports and fitness. I do however also enjoy a relaxing day as everyone needs their rest!
I’m a big fan of being outdoors in nature and believe you can’t beat a gorgeous sunset with a sea breeze.
I am sociable and understand that everyone needs their personal time too - it’s all about balance.
I absolutely love animals and have been pet sitting for a few years now, I will take any chance I can get to have some pup snuggles and until I am settled and can have a dog of my own I will gladly help you with yours!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
When it comes to my skills I would say that I’m a ‘Jack of all trades’. I love to learn new things and I’m particularly good when working with my hands. I have experience working in hospitality, guest services, events management on cruise ships, bicycle mechanics, care aide for clients with physical and mental disabilities, tour guiding, personal training and I have spent the last 6 months working as a deck hand on a sailing catamaran in the Whitsundays!
Whatever project you have I am more than willing to help with.
I am very interested in languages and it would be my dream to be able to speak them all - but for now I will stick with the Spanish! I would love the opportunity to teach my knowledge of English to someone who’s keen to learn too.

I stayed in low season so there were not many guests but plenty to do to upkeep the hostel and it's tranquil gardens. Aside from the great surf breaks there's lots of adventuring to do in the area and increíble beaches to see.
