Hello!
My name is Kimia, I live in the UK and I am looking to travel, meet new people and widen my horizons this summer! I graduated my with my bachelors degree in French and Sociology last summer and have been working for the last year but am now looking to have some new experiences. I love being outdoors and being active and am open to helping with a range of tasks. As a native English speaker and a French language graduate, I believe I would be a great participant in a language exchange, I am always keen to gain a better understanding of other languages and I know what it takes to do this. I am creative, in my spare time I love to paint and draw, it would be lovely to meet others who would be willing to teach me about their own artistic practice. I have lived a fast paced city life for a few years and would like to slow down, focus on what is important and live peacefully and sustainably.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a hard worker, punctual, tidy and respectful. I love to learn new skills and am sure I’d be quick to pick up anything you’re willing to help me learn, however, here are some of the things I’ve already learnt that I’d be super confident in helping with :) I have good knowledge of English and French. I used to be a carer for elderly and disabled people in their homes so I have experience juggling all sorts of domestic tasks - cooking, cleaning, maintenance. This job also required me to be cleared to work with vulnerable people so I have been cleared by the disclosure and barring service in the UK. I love children (and they tend to like me too!) I am a caring and kind person and with all the little ones in my life growing up, I love the idea of being a honorary big sister! I have some experience gardening with my grandmother but have not done this in some time, it would be great to get to grow my knowledge of gardening or farming. I draw and paint and would be up for any decorating projects.
