Hi, my name is Kimberley!
I’m 25 and I’m currently completing my master's in Cultural Anthropology in Cork, Ireland. I’m Dutch but I grew up right across the border in Belgium. Over the past years, I was lucky enough to get opportunities to live in various countries such as Spain, The Netherlands, Scotland, Malta, and Sweden.
I’m very passionate about the tourism industry, especially the fields of eco-tourism and volunteering. I’ve studied tourism for the past 5 years and decided to continue with anthropology, hoping to contribute to research that considers tourism as a social phenomenon instead of just prioritising its economic benefits.
I’m very social and I love to get to know others. I love to dance, write, and be out in nature. I’m very eager to learn new things and I’m yet to come across a topic I’m not interested in!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’ve mostly worked within the hospitality industry. I worked as a server, hotel back office worker, and sales department. I got to practice my customer service skills and can deal with basic administration duties.
Outside of that, I’m a creative problem solver, organised, a quick learner, and can work well in both a team and independent setting.
I’ve done volunteering in the past where overall I’ve gained some experience in various things including guiding, gardening, restoration, art projects, writing, and interviewing.
