Hi, My name is Khati, I'm from Belgium and live in Lisbon for the last 9 years.
I came back from a 10 months travel in South America and looking for my next adventure!
Life is about connecting with nature, others and oneself.
By using workaway, I am able to meet great people and expend my knowledge and universe !

This is a beautiful spot near the lake, kept pure with monkeys everywhere!
I enjoyed the peaceful outside and the variety of work from gardening to creating a natural wall/border for the land. Whenever it got too hot I could switch to some shade and clear the fallen leaves and pile the branches for firewood.

Khati stayed for a month and really enjoyed the whole experience. She helped me organise the other volunteers and always had a smile on her face. She has a very positive attitude and gets on well with other people. She's strong and helped with lots of different tasks. We will really miss her here! Khati has been an excellent volunteer. She has lots of experience with gardening which is very helpful for us. She is very self managing which makes our job very easy. Khati was great to have around. Really easy going and straightforward. She stayed for 3 months and it just flew by! She helped hard transforming the garden, removing all the weeds and helping us build some raised beds. She took care of our dog, walking him every day and feeding him (he just followed her around!) I recommend this place very highly! Nadège and Marcin are great, easygoing people. I really enjoyed my stay and it felt like home immediately.

Khati stayed with us for about 2 weeks. Honestly, it was awesome :)
We really got on super well. Khati just needs briefing on what needs to be done and then does an awesome job, totally unsupervised. When she is not sure about something, she comes and asks. We are so happy with the work she did in our garden: it was full of weeds, untidy, looking… read more
